Personality Trait and Environment: Are They Wedged the Entrepreneurship Intention

Abstract

This study aims to identify the relationship between personality traits and environmental factors with entrepreneurship intention among Institut Kemahiran MARA (IKM) students.  This study is adapted Luthje and Franke (LFM) Model in exploring all the factors mentioned. A total of 570 students from four IKM gave their feedback in this study. All data were collected via a survey using questionnaires that contains four major elements with 57 items. The relationships of personality traits and environmental factors with the entrepreneurship intention were analyzed using the Pearson correlation test. Correlation analysis shows that the personality traits and environments factor have a positive relationship with students’ entrepreneurship intention
